Uncommon Lead Generation Ideas for Realtors

Generating leads is essential for any business, but it can be tricky to come up with unique ideas to draw in potential customers. Here are a few creative lead generation ideas you can use to stand out!

Host a weekly live social media show or podcast

This is a great way to present yourself as an expert to your sphere of influence. While your show can be about anything, we have a few ideas to help you get started! You can explain real estate investing strategies, review local market updates, interview other real estate professionals, etc. If you are uncomfortable doing this on your own, find another agent to co-host it with you!

"Free Coffee"

The "Free Coffee" idea is when you sit in a local coffee shop with a sign that says something like "Real estate questions? Let's chat over coffee". Now all you have to do is wait! If anyone approaches you with questions, offer to buy them a cup of coffee while you discuss their real estate needs. This might not be successful every time, but if you consistently do this in the same coffee shop, you will start to become a known face in the local real estate community.

Host a Local Event

Hosting an event immediately gives you credibility. There are so many different events you can host- a first time home buyer seminar, a client appreciation event, a real estate networking event, etc. This is another great opportunity to partner with another real estate professional-- the more people involved in an event the better!

Door Knock

Sometimes you need to get back to the basics! Door knocking has historically been an effective way to generate real estate leads. Simply identify a neighborhood you'd like to service, and go door to door introducing yourself. Make sure you have a no pressure/friendly script. Similar to the 'Free Coffee' idea, you might not get an immediate sale, but you will become a familiar face to the community!
